Building Resilient Families
From trust to calling

At the heart of family discipleship is the belief that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the home, while the church equips, encourages, and partners with them. Our Family Discipleship Plan provides clear milestones, age-appropriate pathways, and practical resources to help children and parents grow in faith together from birth through high school and beyond.

By aligning each stage around biblical truth, spiritual development, and parent equipping, we can help families build a strong foundation, develop a personal relationship with Christ, discover their God-given identity and purpose, and live out His calling. Together, we are building resilient families who lead their homes to pursue Jesus.

Trust | Birth - Two Years

Birth – 2 Years

The earliest years of life are an opportunity to establish a foundation of trust. During this season, our focus is on encouraging and equipping parents as they begin leading their home spiritually.

Milestone: Parent/Child Dedication

Parent/Child Dedication marks the beginning of your family’s discipleship journey. While this milestone celebrates your child, it is equally a commitment for parents to embrace their God-given role as the primary spiritual leaders in the home. As a church, we are committed to partnering with you every step of the way.

Foundation

Preschool

(3–4 Years)

As children begin asking questions about God, families have a unique opportunity to establish rhythms that shape everyday faith. Through prayer, worship, Bible stories, and intentional conversations, parents help lay a spiritual foundation that will support their children for years to come.

Identity

Middle School

6th–8th Grade

Middle school is a season filled with questions about belonging, identity, and purpose. As students face new relationships, influences, and challenges, we want them to discover that their identity is found in Christ alone.

Milestone: Entering Middle School

On Promotion Sunday, all incoming 6th graders will move to the Student Center, take part in a welcome event, and familiarize themselves with this new chapter.

Milestone: Join a Discipleship Group

Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are gender-specific groups of 3–5 people that meet for a season to grow in their relationship with Jesus before multiplying to make more disciples. Through Bible study, Scripture memory, prayer, and accountability, participants experience authentic spiritual growth while learning to invest in the lives of others.

Purpose

High School

9th–10th Grade

As students gain greater independence, they also begin discovering how God has uniquely gifted them to serve others and make an impact. This season focuses on helping students develop a faith that is active, personal, and lived out in everyday life.
