HOSTING Easter
When you think about Easter, do you think of it as something you GET or something you HOST? If you’re reading this, I’m assuming that Resurrection Sunday is a celebration of what is ALREADY true for you. But it’s not yet true for hundreds who will be on our campus for Easter. I hope you will join me in thinking like a HOST.
The biggest hour we host that day is 9:30 am. Everyone wants to be out a little earlier for dinner. Seating and parking are always a challenge. So will you join me as a host? Three ways you can help:
Attend a different service.
We are hosting six services that day. Ben will preach in the Chapel, Chris will preach in the Student Center, and I will preach in the Family Room.
- 8:00 am Chapel (Traditional) and Family Room (Modern)
- 9:30 am Student Center and Family Room (both Modern)
- 11:00 am Student Center and Family Room (both Modern)
Park at Baylor, Vintage Bank, or on the Hill in the Field parking.
Over the last two weeks, I have been seeing people circle for parking, But our shuttles will be running–and they will pick up near your cars and drop you right at the front door!

Sit Close.
It’s much easier to seat people if we’re filling up from the front to the back. I have been helping people find seats over the last two weeks. So will you sit closer to the platform and save back rows for people still arriving as we start the service?
If you knew someone needed to hear about Jesus, what would you do to help host? Live like a host. Welcome people. And make room for them, just as someone made room for you.
Look for Woodrow in remote parking–you can park by ME!
