We foster personal, professional, and spiritual growth to empower women through job skills and career readiness training, interpersonal skills development, and confidence- and self-worth-building. As a nonprofit ministry, we work with women from all walks of life who need tuition-free training in computer skills, resume writing, financial management, communication skills, and more.
Areas that you can get involved in:
The first Monday of the month at 12:00 pm, they gather online to pray for EBA, our churches, and the needs of Ellis County.
We believe praying for each other builds rapport and breaks down the silo mentality in churches. A person who signs up will receive an email each Sunday on churches to pray for during the week.
When someone mentions the word neighbor, we think of the person or family who lives next door. Neighbors encompass everyone we encounter, no matter their age, race, cultural background, work history, educational experience, financial status, or political affiliation.
The ministry of LYN wouldn’t be possible without the community shopping at our thrift store. If you haven’t stopped by recently, now is the time!
If an individual or group wants to help by providing seed money, we also offer grants. We strongly encourage cooperation among churches and will increase the amount given exponentially if multiple churches participate. If funding were provided, we would allocate it to the grant fund.
