We have provided over 49 years of ministry to hundreds of friends across the great nation, and until Heaven, there is never enough time to share what God is currently doing! Our ministry has been blessed with a large variety of outreaches. We are a para-church ministry doing all we can with the donations God graciously provides! We all know the more hooks you put into the water, the more fish you will catch!
After answering God’s calling on my life as a teenager, I continually focus on using the talents He gave me to win souls! This has included volunteer, part-time, and full-time positions in various Baptist Churches. As needed, it has also meant commercial employment in the transportation industry with school and charter operations!
Our current ministry includes all-day Saturday visitation, twice a month Sunday afternoon Chapel with bus routes, Wednesday night bus route, weekly after-school chapel, our own youth retreats where we sleep 38 young people who have been otherwise thrown away in many cases! I volunteer chaplain services and am a first responder with Victim Relief Ministries, Gloryland Ministries Support Operations. We are also helping local churches train workers and start bus ministries! We are providing free food to many in our ministries through our General Store. We also build and maintain our buses and trailers on site and help other ministries with their fleet of buses.
At this time, our ministry consists of a 9-hour day camp called Escape Days. We start picking up at 10 am on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Then we run a van route on Wednesday nights & come to FBC. We also do a lot of family assistance for our bus families and work with the Heights and other family/youth assistance agencies.
We currently need:
- Meal sponsors
- Two are needed during each escape day.
- Sometimes, we need meals picked up from local restaurants for lunch & dinner.
- workers to ride the bus and spend the day helping us provide the escape day programs.
- On Mondays after escape days, we need help putting up camp materials and cleaning the chapel, snack bar, and bathrooms.
