We Can end hunger in Ellis County.
Together!
Every community has people who are in need. At Manna House, we’re working to ensure that every member of our community has dependable access to food, utilities, and other basic needs. In order to have a thriving community, it will take all of us working together to support our neighbors.
As a Donation Center Volunteer, you will play a vital role in our organization’s mission to serve the community by receiving, sorting, and bundling household items and clothing donations. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting through donated goods, organizing them into appropriate categories, bundling items for distribution, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our sorting area. Additionally, you will assist in gathering and disposing of any trash or unusable items to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Join us in the fight against hunger by becoming a Food Pantry Volunteer. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and shelving food donations, assisting clients with their shopping experience, and providing support by carrying and loading groceries into their vehicles. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to serve individuals and families in need within the communities of Midlothian and Italy.
Are you passionate about thrift shopping and helping your community? Join us as a Heaven’s Attic Volunteer! As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in our thrift store operations, assisting with organizing and cleaning the store, stocking shelves with new merchandise, pricing items, and providing excellent customer service at the front counter. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of supporting individuals and families in need in Midlothian and Italy.
Are you looking for exciting opportunities to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of others? Join us as an Event Volunteer for our upcoming events, such as our Back to School Bash and Angel Tree Shopping events! As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring these events run smoothly and successfully, providing essential support to children and families in need.
Do you have a passion for making a difference in your community? Join us as a Drive Organizer Volunteer and play a pivotal role in coordinating drives for essential items such as food, hygiene products, coats, blankets, and more. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to mobilize support from your network and the community at large to meet the needs of individuals and families facing hardship.
