Standing in the Gap is a nonprofit that supports children in crisis and foster families by providing essential items and practical care so kids feel safe, valued, and supported during times of instability.

• Birthday Boxes: We put together birthday boxes for children in need served by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. It’s a simple way to help a child feel celebrated. We have an Amazon wish list that helps us keep this ministry going. Donate here
• First Night Backpacks: We partner with an organization that provides backpacks filled with essentials for children entering care, often with little to no belongings. We support this by providing age-specific Bibles and tennis shoes. There’s an Amazon wish list available for this as well. Donate Here
• Diapers and Wipes: We often get requests for diapers and wipes, so this is an ongoing need. Donations through our Amazon list make a big difference for families. Donate Here
• Summer Fun: Groups can sponsor a child or family by donating toward Hawaiian Falls passes to help create a fun summer experience.
• Back-to-School Project: We help kids start the school year strong by providing a new backpack, new shoes, and day-one school clothes. Donations help make this possible.
• Christmas at the Closet: During the Christmas season, we’ll need toy donations, financial support, and volunteers to help set up and participate in the event.
