WHAT IS DISCOVER YOUR CALLING?

At FBC Midlothian, we want everyone to be Resilient Disciples who lead others to pursue Jesus where we live, work, and play. Along that journey, we will become Gospel Centered Followers, Deeply Connected Friends, Intentional Disciple Makers, and Uniquely Sent Servants.

Discover Your Calling helps with that last one: becoming Uniquely Sent Servants. Do you know your unique role? Why did God put you here? What do you have to offer that no one else does? Many don’t.

If you were asked: What is your God-given calling? What would you say? Could you answer? Love God. Love People. Make disciples. All good answers, but that’s true of all Christians. What about for you specifically? How do YOU love God? How do YOU love people? How do YOU make disciples?

This process will help you know, name, and live out your God-given calling. We will look at your story, passions, and abilities and see how you can be a Resilient Disciple who has a unique purpose to be sent into the world to show others what God is like.
