GO NO GO

Deadlines are a part of life. Whether it’s launching a rocket or starting a business, planning a trip, or a transplant surgery, there’s a point in the process we call the “Go/No Go” point. We have to decide. And once we do that, events begin to domino toward a specific conclusion. You launch the rocket or you scrub, you file the papers or you don’t, you go to the operating room or you don’t. And the last few chapters of the Gospels are full of “Go/NO GO points. If Jesus wants to escape, he has means, but if he is determined to rescue us, he must continue.
