End of Year - 2023

End of Year Report

FBC Midlothian wants to convey our appreciation for the generosity poured out from our church family! By sharing their time, talent, energy, and financial support, our fellowship continues to cooperate together to become resilient disciples who lead people to pursue Jesus, where we live, work, and play. So, “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you” very much!

Here is a brief overview of what we accomplished because of your financial support:

  • At Christmas, we partnered with seven families who could not provide Christmas to their children. We also provided food assistance for Christmas meals to these families.
  • During 2023, we provided over $13,600 to 23 families that needed financial assistance. We were able to resource another 32 families with local ministries to meet their stated needs.
  • 302 people invested in many mission projects through local and after-school ministries, food distribution, disaster relief/national crisis projects, and projects in two foreign countries.
  • 41 people took the step of going public with their faith in Jesus through baptism.
  • 132 people united with our church fellowship this year.
  • 774 people participated in Group Life last year, which includes Connect Groups, Re-Engage, Grief Share, Divorce Care, and Bible Studies.

Finally, thank you all for faithfully praying for our church and loving people in our community! During such uncertain times, your faithful participation has been such a source of encouragement to so many! We hear so many stories of caring for each other and our neighbors. It can be disheartening, but you have not grown weary in serving and loving others with kindness.
